Forsythia GateMy essays have appeared in Best American Essays (Notable Essay), the Christian Science MonitorHungry Mind Review, and Water~Stone, as well as in anthologies including The House on Via Gombito: Writing by North American Women Abroad, and on Minnesota Public Radio. A book of interviews with visual artists, Making Art, was published by the Minneapolis Institute of Art and an interview with A.S. Byatt in Ruminator Review.

Awards include grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board, the Jerome Foundation, the McKnight Foundation, and artist fellowships from the Bush Foundation.
